Main Ingredients And Some To Make A Scrumptious Salad

By Mitch Hancock

When fixing a salad one will need the following items; a slice of red onion, eggs bacon cucumber, croutons and or flavorful crunch. With these you are sure to have a tasty salad.

Having salads can be a boring experience to some due to the fact that same ingredients are used in most cases. The following points may be helpful if you wish to make your salad better and more enjoyable.

You can opt to make your own salad which is far much better. This move has an advantage over the Restaurant's salad in that you may wish to add other items to make your salad more enjoyable. Pickle juice, ketchup, mayo, salsa or guacamole. Other items used in the kitchen on a daily basis may be used as well.

Take your salad to a higher level by sprinkling walnuts, peanuts, and even spiced pecans all over your salad. This way your salad will have that crunchy feel which will interest those eating it. Every bite will be a delight

Adding a fruit to your salad is known to be a great idea in that it makes your salad more appealing compared to the plain salads. You can include some fruits such as raisins, bits of pears, diced apple, thin slices of kiwi, and dried cranberries or cherries.

Adding cheese; Instead of just having your salad composed of greens only ,you may want to chance the look by melting soft cheese and pouring it on top. You can sprinkle Parmesan as well or place strips of mozzarella which is law in fat.

Grilling your vegetables especially tomatoes can add more value to your salad. Changing the texture of your salad can go a great while in increasing the desire to have a bite. Grill your veggies for just a few seconds or a maximum of a minute.

Salad time should not be a time to endure but a time to enjoy. This can be made possible by being artistic in the way you package the salad or the way you present it to the guests.
